SOPRO Trademark Development for Products Complying with CSR standards

Start of common development of fundamentals for awarding and marketing of sustainable quality products produced by economic enterprises in cooperation with social enterprises.

"The future will be sustainable!" More and more companies are convinced thereof. They also focus on social tasks and interactions within the frame of their economic activities.

Within the framework of the project of "social production", players from economic enterprises, public institutions and social enterprises work in fair cooperation for the development and implementation of sustainable products and services.

On June 14, we started off with dedicated entrepreneurs and cooperators from economic enterprises, who have already gained experience with results or work steps of "social production". It was the aim to gather wishes and demands, and to formulate jointly the fundamentals for the process of trademark development in and beyond Austria.

Dr. Dietmar Kanatschnig opened this event with an introductory lecture on "how CSR changes an enterprise". This event met with great interest, and so we welcomed representatives of the following companies:

Metaflex Kanttechnik Gmbh, Vermigrand Organic Products GmbH, BENE Office Furniture AG, Printer's Janetschek as well as Sonnenfeld ecological estate. A large number of project partners and strategic partners, such as the Department of Economy of the Lower Austrian Government as well as the Lower Austrian Agricultural District Authorities participated in the discussions with great commitment.

The results from this workshop are gathered and evaluated for further steps by the project team. Thank you very much for your dedicated cooperation!
