Manuela Unterleitner from the Municipal Waste Association in the region of Tulln addressed the SoPro developer team with a special request: She wished uniform clip badges showing the logo of the Tulln Waste Association for the members of this association, and they should be produced, consistent with the waste association, of residual materials.

Charlie Lang, the principal developer, started working immediately, and considered thoroughly how to produce a prototype. At the company Kutech at Ranzelsdorf he found suitable material, not heavy and easily processed – leftovers of Forex rigid foam boards, which usually are used for construction site signs and other signs. These leftovers of boards have been processed in the GESA social enterprise in St. Poelten, according to instructions by Charlie Lang, into badges, have been bonded and equipped with a clip for fixation.

150 pieces of socially produced clip badges have already been delivered. The SoPro team are looking forward to further excellent cooperation with the Tulln Waste Association, the next project is already in planning ...
