SoPro HU-AT Opening of Educational Center at Pakod within the Framework of Summer University

Opening of PAKK, Pakod (HU), August 8 and 9, 2013

On August 8 and 9, 2013, this educational center, the complete refurbishment of which has been facilitated by the platform of socially produced, was solemnly opened at Pakod.

At the regional opening on August 8, SoPro cooperation of economic enterprises with social enterprises has been reported by Szabolcs Hollósi, Balázs Bozzay held a lecture on sustainability in everyday life, and Ágnes Herpainé Márkus dealt, amongst others, with the question: "What is the benefit of sustainability for all of us? What makes a region sustainable?"

The first day was completed by workshops on the topic of "Sustainability in practice". Within the framework of the international opening, to which the project partners from socially produced were heartily invited, Franz Rybaczek reported Austrian experience and best-practice examples within the frame of this SoPro project under the heading of "Precious material out of waste".

Subsequently, László Németh provided suggestions with respect to "What is my individual responsibility, and what can I do as a private person?", and reported about social solutions and required changes.

The presentation round was completed by a presentation of pictures of artistic projects, bearing the name of "waste dreams", by Dani Gitta, who offered an opportunity to the guests to create impressive pieces of art made of waste within the course of this workshop in the afternoon. Subsequently, the PAKK educational center was solemnly opened.
