SOPRO in Brussels – Cooperation with REVES

Upon the invitation of the REVES network, a delegation of SOPRO visited the European Parliament in Brussels on Tuesday, November 26, 2013.

REVES, the network of towns and regions in favor of social economy, has presented the current yearbook „REVES Yearbook of excellences 2013 – The most interesting examples of partnership between public authorities and social and solidarity economy", in which also the SoPro project has been published on pp. 96-99 as an international best-practice example.

Carmen Arroyo de Sande, Coordinator of the Disability Thematic Network from the European Foundation Centre is pleased with the socially produced bird feeding house, which was handed over by Franz Rybaczek, made of used waste containers.

In a meeting with Luigi Martignetti, Secretary General of REVES, and Erdmuthe Klaer-Morselli (deputy manager) experiences were exchanged and further cooperation in the future was discussed. We are looking forward to committed cooperation with REVES and their international partner organizations.
